1. About Our Auctions

Golden M Era Auction House is a South African online auction platform specialising in rare coins, error coins, key-date coins, graded collectibles, and bullion. All auctions are conducted online at www.goldenmeraauctions.com. By participating in any auction, you agree to these rules in full.

2. Eligibility to Bid

You must be 18 or older, hold a valid Auction Pass or Silver Golden M Plan membership, have a verified account, and agree to these rules. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke bidding privileges at our discretion.

3. Registration

One account per person. All details must be accurate and match your payment method. Multiple accounts are not permitted.

4. How Bidding Works

• All bids are in ZAR

• Highest bidder at close wins the lot

• Bids are binding — they cannot be retracted

• Equal bids: the earlier one wins

• Reserve prices may apply — if not met, the lot may not sell

• The auctioneer's decision is final

5. Buy Now

Selecting Buy Now ends the auction for that lot immediately. Same payment terms apply.

6. Winning & Payment

Full payment is due within 48 hours of your winning notification. Accepted methods: Yoco, PayPal, Paystack. Non-payment may result in re-listing and account suspension.

7. Authenticity & Grading

All items are inspected and graded in-house before listing, following internationally recognised numismatic standards. Photographs form part of the lot description — review all images before bidding.

8. Money-Back Guarantee

All rare and error coins carry a full money-back guarantee. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at goldenmeraauctionhouse@gmail.com if your item does not match its description. Items must be returned in original condition.

9. Shipping & Delivery

Standard (14–21 days), Express (5–7 days), or Next-day delivery available. Tracking provided on dispatch. International shipping available — costs vary by destination. Risk of loss passes to the buyer on courier handover.

10. Consumer Protection

Auctions are conducted in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Buyers retain all rights afforded under the CPA.

11. Privacy & Data

Personal information is handled in accordance with POPIA (Act 4 of 2013). Your data is never sold to third parties.

12. Prohibited Conduct

Bid manipulation, multiple accounts, false registration details, and platform interference are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension.

13. Disputes

Submit disputes in writing to goldenmeraauctionhouse@gmail.com within 7 days of auction close. We respond within 5 business days.
