Golden M Era Auction House is a South African online auction platform that specializes in rare coins, error coins, key-date coins, graded collectibles, and bullion. All auctions are conducted online at www.goldenmeraauctions.com. By participating in any auction, you agree to these rules in full. We are excited to offer you a unique opportunity to explore and acquire exceptional numismatic treasures!
2. Eligibility to Bid
To bid, you must be 18 years or older. You also need to hold a valid Auction Pass or Silver Golden M Plan membership, have a verified account, and agree to these rules. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke bidding privileges at our discretion. Your participation is important to us, and we want to ensure a fair bidding environment for everyone!
3. Registration
You are allowed only one account per person. All details must be accurate and match your payment method. Multiple accounts are not permitted. This helps maintain the integrity of our auctions and ensures a smooth bidding experience.
4. How Bidding Works
All bids are in ZAR.
The highest bidder at close wins the lot.
Bids are binding — they cannot be retracted.
In the case of equal bids, the earlier one wins.
Reserve prices may apply — if not met, the lot may not sell.
The auctioneer's decision is final.
Bidding can be thrilling! Make sure to keep an eye on your favorite lots as the auction progresses.
5. Buy Now
Selecting "Buy Now" ends the auction for that lot immediately. The same payment terms apply. This option allows you to secure your desired item without waiting for the auction to close!
6. Winning & Payment
Full payment is due within 48 hours of your winning notification. Accepted methods include Yoco, PayPal, and Paystack. Non-payment may result in re-listing and account suspension. We want to ensure a seamless transaction process for all our valued bidders!
7. Authenticity & Grading
All items are inspected and graded in-house before listing, following internationally recognized numismatic standards. Photographs form part of the lot description — please review all images before bidding. We take pride in providing you with accurate representations of our items!
8. Money-Back Guarantee
All rare and error coins carry a full money-back guarantee. If your item does not match its description, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at goldenmeraauctionhouse@gmail.com. Items must be returned in original condition. Your satisfaction is our priority!
9. Shipping & Delivery
We offer several shipping options: Standard (5–7 days), Express (2–3 days), or Next-day delivery. Tracking is provided upon dispatch. International shipping is available, with costs varying by destination. Please note that the risk of loss passes to the buyer upon courier handover. We want your treasures to arrive safely!
10. Consumer Protection
Our auctions are conducted in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Buyers retain all rights afforded under the CPA. We are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent auction process for all participants.
11. Privacy & Data
Your personal information is handled in accordance with POPIA (Act 4 of 2013). We assure you that your data is never sold to third parties. Your trust is essential to us, and we take your privacy seriously.
12. Prohibited Conduct
Bid manipulation, multiple accounts, false registration details, and platform interference are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension. We strive to maintain a fair and enjoyable auction experience for everyone involved.
13. Disputes
If you have any disputes, please submit them in writing to goldenmeraauctionhouse@gmail.com within 7 days of the auction close. We will respond within 5 business days. We are here to help resolve any issues you may encounter!
